Hi Ed, 

I use Woodland Scenics dry transfer set MG745, 45 degree USA Gothic White.  I 
tend to model the late 50's early 60's, when most numberboards had a black 
background.  If the numberboards are transparent, I paint them black first.

The sheet contains several font sizes which will fit most numberboards.

Can't help you on the ditchlights, though.
