Firth of Forth bridge? Is that the one on which the famous accident took place years and years ago. If it is, one of theGerman poets wrote a ballad about it: "Tand, tand ist das Gebilde von Menschenhand." ________________________________________ From: [email protected] [[email protected]] on behalf of John [[email protected]] Sent: Thursday, September 29, 2011 9:16 PM To: [email protected] Subject: Re: {S-Scale List} Re: Hi SCALE - BC&G S Scale layout
NZ is where I learned to drink scotch. (1943) They only served the good stuff. Drank more in Scotland in 1957. Rode over the Firth of Forth bridge as well. Rode the train from Edinburg across Scotland to the airport,. with the caretaker of the Battle Monument. A true Scotsman. I got the bill. If I have to catch a plane to NZ to have it, the scotch had better be at least 15 years old!
