Seems to me there is a real need for cast resin ends, doors, and roofs for kitbashing and scratchbulding in S. I have often thought of doing what Dave suggests, buying an HO car and then using it as a three-dimensional plan, but I stop when I realize there are no good ready-made parts available for items that are hard to do from scratch.
