It was No. 1455. Mogul #1490 was scrapped in 1952 and Blount bought
the 1455 in 1956 and trucked it to Steamtown where it stayed on
display until the collection was broken up in the 90s. It was sold to
the Cape Cod RR and supposed to receive repairs but that never
happened. It was sold to The Danbury Museum in 1999 and is still
awaiting renovation.
Incidentally, the 1388 was the last steam locomotive to operate in
revenue service - too bad it wasn't saved. Also incidentally, the
Combine displayed at Edaville was originally a D&LW steel sided car
and was used (along with it's counterparts) in commuter service. I
have ridden on that one (or one like it) when it was in service to Lowell, MA.
