I agree that 1960's may be stretching it. We can have one of those useless discussions to define words like "modern" and "contemporary" in railroad terms. I tend to use milestone transitions like the introduction of the SD40-2 or the use of AC traction motors (AC4400) to loosely define eras. From my POV, Greg's tank cars are equally at home behind either of those diesels. Regrettably most of us don't enjoy the 40-2's and none of us has an AC4400...
We do have Greg's cars, which are great! I own several LPG cars. Now if I can just get him to do a fish belly Ammonia car like the drawing below, I would be one happy camper...!
