Maybe I'm just lazy. I made an A-B-A set of F-7's from AM FP-7 shells back in 
the '80's, and did some other modifications using Exacto tools, etc. It worked, 
too, but I always felt like I was walking a tightrope where precision was 
concerned.

Maybe I am influenced too much by "super modelers" in HO building accurate 
models of HO outhouses down to .0001" tolerances?
