Butch: Are you sure you are not referring to the 41-CUDO passenger truck?? In the nomenclature of passenger car trucks: "C' referred to a 9' 0" wheel base and "N" referred to an 8' 6" wheelbase; so a 41-CNDO truck would be a messy animal indeed - one that never existed!
OTOH, the 41-CUDO-11 was the outside swing hanger truck used by the UP on all passenger cars, regardless of builder, from 1949 on. There was a 41-NDO truck, used by the SP and others. Neither was experimental! I think (?) the famous "Budd Buddies" truck, now marketed by Des Plaines Hobby, was supposed to be the 41-NDO. Great photos in Railway Prototype Cyclopedia, Volume 6; Mainline Modeler, Jan/Feb 1982; and any number of MR or RMC passenger car articles and drawings.... Hope that helps...
