Delano (and others) worked on projects for both the Farm Services
Administration and the Office of War Information. Most of Delano's railroad
work was done in the early 40's for the latter and includes both color and B&W.

The Center for Railroad Photography and Art is working on an exhibit of Jack
Delano's work at the Chicago History Museum in 2013.

Over 200 of his B&W photos were published in James Valle's book "The Iron Horse
at War" in 1977 and several of his color photos appeared in Classic Trains
magazine. I do not remember the exact issue. The FSA-OWI collection is indeed
an impressive and stirring body of work.
