Lee has it right, same weight standard that I have been using for years.  You 
must have some good stuff!

I seem to recall a standard of x base + y per 10 foot. That change or am I

per inch.  Therefore, the 9.5 inch hopper would weigh 6.75 oz., not 11-12 oz.  
I normally add about 1 oz. to my PRS cars, and this gives me about a 6.5 oz. 
car for a 40 foot box car.
