Santa Fe had a bunch of U33Cs, just never in red/silver warbonnet colors. Not sure why Lionel would choose that paint scheme when it is not correct. The U28CG and U30CG wore the red/silver paint scheme, and there are no models of them in S scale. Someone at Lionel really needs to do some research.

U33C's weren't even worthy of trespassing on Santa Fe property, let alone wear a warbonnet, too! > > > > > > > > > > > > > > There was a day when one had to believe whatever one was told, especially if you saw it on the internet. But now the internet's bigger and one can look at www.rrpicturarchives.net and find stuff like http://www.rrpicturearchives.net/showPicture.aspx?id=2611223 showing that with a little help from a competent RR, they worked OK. There are lots more pictures. Go to ATSF and then select by model. tom Hawley -- Lansing Mich ------------------------------------ Yahoo!
