John...

Good news for you! Guess who custom makes the Supply Car S Scale sides...Mark
at Union Station Products. We have him custom mil them to our "S"
specifications for the AM core shells. Hint: they do not convert directly to
S from HO.

The Supply Car has the exclusive rights to any USP sides done in S scale. They
are available only in our complete kits (with or without AM core).
Essentially, if the car is on the USP HO website list, it can be done in S.
Any car that is not on the USP website can also be done if it is listed in
either the BUDD or P/S - ACF Red Books. Even then, if not, you only need to
supply copies of plans or photos to Bob and it can still be produced.

If you are creative, you can build shorter/longer than the AM 81' cars (that's
what Earl is now doing) and even two and three unit articulated cars (ex:
Espee). That 12 car California Zephyr train featured in the U Tube video on
Steve Doyle's layout was built from The Supply Car kits, including the 73'
baggage.

They really are fairly easy to build and give you something unique in S when
you are done.

Enjoy! Bob Hogan
