According to one of my sources on the OGR board, the Heritage units are artwork
and descriptions from the second run of O Gauge Heritage units from 2010, which
were given different numbers from the prototypes so O Gaugers could run
multiples. Lionel's earlier first run had the correct numbers.
But that doesn't help us much. I sent off a polite email to Lionel's "Talk to
Us" with the correct numbers and we'll have to wait to see what they say. It
might be a good idea for others to do so, also. Seeing it's late, might not
see a response until Monday.
The wrong numbers on the Heritage units are certainly a buzzkill.
