Don,
Thanks for adding your comment.  As you said early "S" was all about kit form .
You had to put it together before you ran it. Now with ready to run and Lionel
American Flyer, we have new offerings that people have wanted for a long time
in ready to run. I am happy with what is out there. I hope you get back up and
producing so that they will say  I should have known to wait and not be
negative  about what is offered. I just got my American Models (oops) MKT
heavywieght Passenger cars that I ordered from my club rep before they were
listed on the website. I will wait and see what you have to offer next.
                                              Thanks,
                                                           Alan

Dear John,
It can only assume that you have not purchased a Lionel U33C.  If S scale had
a think tank that proposed a way for Lionel to start making S Scale models for
the S Scale market to influence those of other scales to consider and join S
scale, I think the first step would be a highly detailed model with the
including the options of scale wheels and KD couplers. In our mind, the U33C is
a great first step and announcing a SD70ACe with scale wheels installed is a
wonderful 2nd step.
I think if you had modeled S Scale with us in the 70's, when our S Scale
options were wooden reefer kits and converted flyer freight cars, you would
have a different perspective on the importance of these latest developments by
big "L".
