They are a toy train manufacturer and have been for a long time so it makes
sense that they build for the guys who they know will spend the money. So the
pivoting pilots don't work as a scale loco ,that don't mean their freight cars
won't be usable cause if they follow their O practice they will be very nice
pieces. A new set of trucks or wheels sets and some Kd's and they should make a
fine model. I really don't care if the big road diesels are scale or highrail
as they are too big and take too long a train and too much space to look
realistic running no matter how scale the loco might be but if they make money
and cause lionel to build more freight cars I'm all for them. Being anti
Lionel is not thinking very far ahead if you really want more S scale equipment
to be produced....DaveBranum
