The problem, Andre, is that everyone thinks that everyone else should define 
FUN the same way as they do.  I define fun as building scale, accurate 
models... not just playing with my trains as you do.  Therefore, "FUN" is a 
relative term... and not understanding that is where a VAST amount of the 
misunderstandings between people on this list lies.

  We train hobbiests are supposed to be doing model trains to have fun.  
Reading some of the posts concerning the Lionel entry into Hi Rail S, it 
doesn't EVEN sound like some of you are having fun with your trains. Some of 
the posts read as if your trains are more like work/hassle/bitching/fussing 
points than something in which to have fun with.

  Are some of you really this unhappy with the hobby, or just unhappy with life 
in general?  Or, is it that this list just brings out the fussy side in some?
