On one of my units, the trailing coupler is mounted directly to the truck
pad - no spring no swivel.   I'll have broad curves so i don't think the
couple swing will be an issue; the truck will do that.

For the leading coupler, I used one of the AM mounting pads, installed the
802 in its box, and screwed onto the chassis.  There's a screw hole already
there.  I tapped it just in case with a 2-56. The coupler glad hand was
removed.

At this point in time the unit won't be handling cars on the nose end.


I've used multple methods of mounting so if you'd like to see them, I can
bring my units to Dayton.
