I guess that proves that beauty is more than skin deep! I do remember a
truly excellent paint job, and overall excellent craftsmanship that
Hiram is noted for.
And speaking of limited run diesels, I've been searching for someone who
has finished building the FM switcher from Smoky Valley. I need a good
photo of one for an upcoming S-sig article. It really doesn't even have
to be painted but should be otherwise complete.
I had to pass on them when offered but I would have hoped that I would
have finished it by now.

Hiram had PRR Heritage make the chassis in brass. He used SHS
blomberg trucks for the drive.
