SHABBONA RR is DC, and I'm proud of it. SHABBONA RR operator(s) focus on running trains as opposed to chasing down mysterious DCC technological idiosynchrasies!
I have never seen DCC operate as reliably and trouble-free as my common-rail DC system at any model railroad meet I've ever attended. In fact, layout operators at those gatherings usually give up and revert to DC just so they can run some trains! I suggest DCC operators keep several rolls of string handy! boB Nicholson __________________________________________________ --- In [email protected], "Willam Fraley" <wjfraley@...> wrote: > > Sorry Bill, I have fairly large layout and it still runs on DC with the help > of many electrical blocks. > > > > Matter of fact the Jefferson Central operates off of two DC power packs, > allowing up to 4 modelers to run trains at one time. > > > > Problem is when I go under there to resolve a problem, it can be very > confusing.
