HI Dave

Leaving the spacers out will cause the coupler height to be wrong, but if
you make up for that in other ways, not a problem. The cars look great!

Does anyone run the SHS cars without the little square spacers that fit
between the truck and the body? I've tried leaving them out and the cars
feel a bit tippy but seem to work, they ride a little lower without the
spacers than with them but not enough to bother the coupling. I've noticed I
have to ream out the spacers a bit if I use them as they seem too tight on
the body post. I guess the best method is to ream them and use them but I'm
tempted to leave them out to simplify the matter.
I assembled one of my new SHS cars, a PS2 cement hopper with SP lettering,
looks great in my cement plant train.Photo added to photos section if anyone
is interested..
