Y'know, if all the cars are SHS without spacers, then the couplers will all be
at the same height with each other. All you'd need is one transition car to
couple with non-SHS cars or locos. Since Dave cuts off the glad hand anyway,
no snagging on the rails. Who needs standards anyway?
