Hi Roy, Here in central California I know of only two S scale layouts with
50 miles of my house, one close by is SN3 which is kinda a different interest
than S standard gauge and the other is Ed's sweet layout about 50 miles away. I
once saw a nice looking S modular layout set up at a shopping center in Carmel
which is about 50 miles the other direction but I don't know if they are still
active. There might possibly be a couple more S scalers over the hill or in
the SF bay area that I'm not aware of but the pickings are slim. There's not
really a lot of modeling in any scale here in town, I know of a handful of HO
layouts and one marginally active club with HO, N, and a garden
railroad....DaveBranum
