Assembled, yes.  But well assembled, no.  Large gaps between the metal pieces, 
solder blobs on the handrails and stanchions, truck sideframes touching the 
steps, etc. led me to think it was a poor assembly job.  

One would have to disassemble it to correct the problems.  And then reassemble 
it.  Lots of work there.

My three North Yard-powered RS-3s are among the best running of any loco I 
have.  Smooth and silky throughout all the speed ranges.  Quiet too.
