You are right. I did look at the site before sending the e-mail to see if it was still listed, but I did not look at the price column. My apologies.

I agree, $500 is indeed a fair price for it. I spent $300 on the kit and the chassis, and then an additional $125 on the various detailing parts, speaker, and sound decoder.

It is worth considering in the price of the model that the example on bay was assembled, so it was certainly worth more than the kit (assuming a good assembly job).
