That's good to hear Jeff. I've always had desire to own one of those engines along with several others. It seems like nearly every RR had a few of those and some lasted a long time--Amtrak and I know the SOO had one last into the White/Red scheme.

I will also back up Ed in saying the North Yard, in my case, runs pretty darn nice. It's not super fancy but it gets the job done.

I guess I should chime in here. The RS1 is not discontinued. Just temporarily unavailable. I have all the masters here and have to get them cast to be spun up. On the chassis I do have a motor issue. The original motors are no longer available. I have to find a new motor and at the same time want to make the drive line out of drive shafts instead of the rubber tubing.
