Generally speaking (and this is VERY generally speaking), hi-rail will run
on C100 and scale will run on hi-rail track.

Saying that, I would think that AF wheels would not run on scale - it's the
size of the flanges.  As long as they do not run over the track spikes,
they'd probably be good to go.  I don't think non-AF (but AF-compatible)
wheels have as large a wheel flange.

Where you will have compatibility problems is how each handles the turnouts
- guardrails and frogs most likely being the determining factor (amongst
others).  SHS helped that with their moving frogs and other companies with
their swing frog/point designs.

Just a general observation and I'll probably be overridden by others.
