A lot of years ago Houston had offered to host the NASG but it didn't work out. Since then the enthusiasm in most has died. Normally several of our group would attend regardless of location, but this year I wasn't able after being at most since the mid 80's. Billy Click and Company might have been the only Texas people there.

Locally, we figured it would be too far for most people even within the State, plus we figured that many would be concerned about the heat/moisture and certainly a hurricane event would be a possibility.

We had thought the Dallas region was going to make that happen at one time. Heck you have two clubs plus a mess of NG guys in a loose club of sorts. Time to get your committees formed! And John shouldn't be too scared of crossing the Mississippi, as I'm sure they'll let him back!

I kow that. I reread what you said and joked about it. Bill's car body is something to look forward to. He is making it easier for us to get something new, that we can afford. Chattanooga was too far for me. That is my big pet peeve. Nobody comes to my area with anything scale oriented. Houston might have something but that is too far for me(400 miles one way)to drive. I was hoping you would see my comment as a joke. You are still a list friend and I hope you see that.
