I was a bit disturbed to read of the "cancellation" of the scale-wheeled SD70, having heard nothing officially about it. Obviously, some of my "scale" customers were taken by surprise as well, and contacted me. So I made a personal inquiry about this, and was told this morning by a reliable, but "anonymous" source at Lionel:
