It’s me again ...
Lionel got the Sandersfeld award this year for their U33c. I feel that is
certainly an indication of how much the NASG appreciated their work. NO,
they did not acknowledge getting it, but I bet it is in the foyer where it
can be seen... ( a bit of a sore point with me, in case you couldn’t tell).
Both companies were invited to the Chattanooga convention...
The BOT is already considering re-establishing a manufacturer advisory
panel. I would like to see this be a small group of former producers, not
just guys off the street, so they have “street cred”. That panel could
enlist others to gather info on what the market wants, then present it to
producers who ASK for their input. Unfortunately, this group is probably
many months away...

... a questionnaire could be put in the Dispatch, the S-Gaugian and on the S
lists, then the information forwarded to MTH and Lionel in the form of
feedback. Someone would obviously have to edit down the responses and edit
out the profanities <LOL>.
I think it would be a good thing to congratulate Lionel on the S stuff they
have already produced ...

Here is a curiosity question: Has the NASG, as our official organization,
ever written to MTH or Lionel as our official organization with a request or
suggestion for new products? If not, why not? Just curious....Ed L.
