Ed, that is a good question. If they have contacted Lionel and MTH, great!
If not, a questionnaire could be put in the Dispatch, the S-Gaugian and on the S lists, then the information forwarded to MTH and Lionel in the form of feedback. Someone would obviously have to edit down the responses and edit out the profanities <LOL>. I think it would be a good thing to congratulate Lionel on the S stuff they have already produced and have cataloged, and when MTH S products appear, thank them as well. It might be helpful to also mention specific products in our accolades. I especially like the Challenger, for example, and the C&A set (gorgeous and a great runner!). We might also tactfully comment on the tweaks some of us would like to see on the Big Boy and perhaps suggest an upgrade that Lionel could offer, for a price of course. My point here is not to get into a discussion of what¹s great or not so great with Flyonel, but to emphasize the theme of the thread: Communicating with manufacturers about what people who buy their products want.
