   You hit the nail on the head when you refer to room and indirectly to 
desire.  I don't think there is one correct approach to model railroading.  But 
others, like I, do have their desires.  I'm not a broad curve person, but I 
enjoy seeing them on others layouts.  Modeling the part of the mountains I do, 
I suspect a 90" radius curve would be unprototypically wide and hence 
unrealistic.(8-
I think Armstrong would have suggested choosing a prototype that fits your
