Alan....
"We" (whoever that is) are still going in circles.
"Them" (whoever that is) is still a total unknown.
If you want to make progress in the forward direction instead of going in
circles, I would suggest the following:
1. Pick up the telephone and call Lionel corporate headquarters in New York
City. Ask the appropriate question.
2. Pick up the telephone and call any Lionel facility and ask for Jenna Egan
(per Earl's suggestion). If she does not work in Michigan, try New York.
Eventually you will find her. Ask the appropriate question.
3. Pick up the telephone and call any Lionel facility and ask for Rich Convery
who is rumored to work in Sales with AF emphasis. If he is not based in
Michigan or New York, keep trying at other Lionel facilities. Ask the
appropriate question.
In my humble opinion, the appropriate question to ask is: "Who is the
individual that makes new product decisions for the AF product line?" Obtain
his/her snail mail address and telephone number. Email address is helpful, but
optional. The next question to ask is an explanation of the chain of command
all the way up to the President. For each person obtain the name, addresses,
phones, etc.
Then, and only then, are you going to be in a position to advise the rest of us
about contacting Lionel with our thoughts and ideas. Then, and only then, will
the rest of us be able to communicate with Lionel in a meaningful manner.
Good luck with this important mission. The future of S scale is dependent on
your success.
Cheers....Ed Loizeaux
