HI all,
Well, I sent a message to Ms. Egan:
Dear Ms. Egan,
I recently received my American Flyer Y3 locomotive. It seems to be a real
winner, runs well forwards and backwards through classic American Flyer
track work, including switches and reverse curves. It also does not have an
extreme hangover on curves. It occurs to me, that with this 2-6-6-2
chassis, one could make a very nice Southern Pacific Cab Forward. The one
running chassis change would be a four-wheel front truck. The boiler and
tender shells would be the majority of tooling required!
S'incerely,
David Dewey
We'll see what response I get--it doesn't really mater what response I get,
as long as someone else at L reads it!!
