Earl,

I hope I'm wrong too. We need someone (me) to get one of the Lionel hoppers
that theysay come with scale wheels to give the answer Ed is looking for.
Anyone want to help find out.

SCALE

I do not agree at all.   I may be wrong but it never occurred to me that Lionel
would invent a new standard
for scale wheels.  This would reflect a really piss-poor marketing attitude
toward the scalers.  They can do that with the AF crowd and vary the flange
depths from one production to the next.  But it will be inexcusable if they
try this with scale.  So I hope what you and Ed are saying is
incorrect.
Just my opinion.  And maybe my opinion should not count, because I
have too much stuff already to be buying much more.  I am just
interested.
