Dear Rusty, If I remember correctly, our freight car axles were 0.004" shorter than AMs. I think once the PS2 trucks were completed, we asked if they could get them to roller even better than they did, their answer was to make the axles ever so shorter. We have had lots of people purchase our wheelsets to replace the sintered iron ones that AM used in their plastic freight car trucks. Likewise, I believe they will work on SSA trucks also...
