Jim: I agree -- the Tsunami AT-1000 decoder makes for much easier and cleaner wiring. My standard installation is now an AT-1000 decoder and one of the RailMaster base reflex speakers (shown in your photo).
And, if you are using Decoder Pro to program the Tsunami decoders, don't forget to try the differences in sound that you can get when you change the "speaker type" configuration variable on the Tsunami. Adding some reverb to the horn is also worth checking out on Decoder Pro.
