Bill,  Seeing as these "wood grained" cars trap air under the decal, one thing 
you might want to try if you decide to do another one.....put a small puddle of 
Future floor finish where the decals are to go then place the decal.The Future 
sucks the decal down into any grooves, depressions, etc. I saw this done on a 
model airplane and the decals snuggled right down into the flap/wing joints. 
The Future can be applied over the decal too once dry and when all that is dry 
you can Dullcote or flat finish.
