السلام عليكم،

Firstly, jazakum Ullahu khairan for all this input.

1. When we asked Shaikh Hamid Al-Ali [1] about using verses of Qur'an in
artwork, we did send him examples of the wallpapers made by USTUN,
those wallpapers have some picture, and a verse of Qur'an as a
comment on it, so in his reply, he had only 2 concerns.

a] The use of Allah, Mohammad in the previous GDM theme. Hence, we
changed the theme. May Allah reward Amine Fahim for this work.

b] The verses should be clear. From another fatwa bro Kouka has
seeked from IslamWeb[2], it has to be in Uthmani script.

2. It is indeed clear in the islamQA fatwa[3] that he treats hadeeths &
ayaat separately. Again, jazakum Allahu khairan (Saber & Amina) for
   pointing this out.

3. I'm not sure wether the case of a running tilawah, is the same as
quoting only a single verse that seems relevant to the wallpaper. For
example, a picture of a nice tree, with this quotation:
"ألم تر كيف ضرب الله مثلاً كلمة طيبة كشجرة طيبة... الآية" (Ibrahim:24)

4. Anyways, we could use hadeeths instead of verses, again according to
the guidelines mentioned in IslamQA fatwa[3]. That would be a great
opportunity to explore the vast amount of hadeeths of Prophet
Muhammad (alaihi as-salatu was-salam). In that case, if someone makes
a wallpaper with a hadeeth quotation, then please include where it is
found, with some link just to ensure that the hadeeth was properly
quoted. The link can be to a search result in a known website, such
as dorar.net, or it can be a link to a book in Shamela, since we got
a Shamela book reader, ie. thwab.

Brother Kouka, you have seeked a fatwas from IslamQA too, right ? You
still didn't get an answer ? If not, is it possible that in light of the
fatwa in [3] to modify your question to make it clearer about the case
we've got ?
