I tried to "find /usr/local/ -name *gfan*", which resulted in nothing. Then I tried "sudo apt remove gfan", which told me that gfan is not installed! So, I misinterpreted "apt show gfan" (it gave me the apparently wrong impression that I had it installed. So, what next? How can I find out whether (and where) gfan is installed system-wide? And if it is not installed: Shall I try to install gfan system-wide, and try building Sage again?
