Normally, patches on trac follow the format `trac_XXXX-description-of-
patch.patch`. You should start using this syntax. Also, sorry about the
comments above, I was just skimming the first patch.
What you should do is flatten the two patches into a new one with the
syntax above (if you want, I can delete the rest to clean up the ticket).
Sorry I wasn't more careful in reviewing, but I've been very busy lately
and I might not have the full attention span necessary for this right now
(general exam coming up very soon!).
