With ECL 12.2.1, the Maxima spkg goes past SLATEC::DBESJ (not finished yet
though).
If it is fine on XP as well, let's go with it for the time being.
Potentially both our problems are incarnation of the same problem.
We should also try the 12.7.1 and 12.12.1 ECLs with the new Maxima 5.299.1
from #13364, who knows...
It might not fix the ECL bug if any, but make it so that it is not
triggered for us.
