How soon is soon? At any rate, I think that somewhere (maybe not even in
prereq) there should be a warning. In principle, we want someone to be
able to download a Sage tarball, open it in Cygwin with the required Sage
packages for any distro, and then do "make". Maybe with some info about
rebasing.
Maybe that means that we need to change the ''installation guide'' here
instead of the prereq! We would need to provide info about rebasing
anyway. What do you think of that for resolving this ticket? Then we
could put a {{{..NOTE}}} to warn about mpfr-4 that could easily be
removed.
