Sorry. My point was not that you should move this +1 somewhere, but that
you KNOW that some entry on the right (which may not be counted in the
current partition, i.e. may be equal to 0) is not equal to x[h]-1. Thus
you know that your multiplicative equation is satisfied, even though you
do not have to run it.
My point is to say that you can determine the right h' without having to
multiply everything.
