First of all, whats up with the that catch-all "dot2tex not available"
error message. If you can't be helpful then don't catch errors, just let
the exception propagate so we can see what is wrong. And, as usual, if you
want a feature to work then you need to doctest it.
You need to remove patches/use-matplotlib-pyparsing.patch from the dot2tex
spkg. Whose idea was it to import internals of matplotlib? Did you think
that it is not going to break with the next matplotlib update?
