 The easiest way to delete the code would be to delete the code (and commit
 the change). The log is there to show your workflow (because maybe you
 need some of that code for this ticket without #16333 [it's a hypothetical
 FYI]).

 Also the branch field might be red even when the branch merges cleanly
 because the trac plugin can be more strict than git's merge (and there
 might be something related with #16332 being merged into `develop`
 *shrugs*).
