 OK.

 I think it is more likely that people read the docs than manually enter
 http://sage.math.washington.edu/home/SimonKing/Cohomology/db/ where the
 main part of the data base currently sits. So, it seems logical to me to
 point out the licence in the docs rather than in the directory.

 All Python and Cython code, including the documentation, is 100% written
 by myself.

 You know, David Green is from England, and he told me that he wants to
 ''licenSe'' our package under a certain ''licenCe''... :-)

 Usually I try to use British English. Only when I directly refer to the
 "GNU Public License", I spell it the US way -- since I think of it as the
 ''name'' of the licence.
