Thanks for all this info. I have been too busy to read every thread and
missed the one you mentioned. I guess I forgot the (compressed) package
was in SAGE_ROOT/spkg/optional/. I think everything is okay now as far as
licenses are concerned.
As far as the test, I am running the test on the machine I'm typing on now
(an amd64 9.04 ubuntu). It passes all tests. The test will not run on my
intel macbook (an import error of some type I think, but I don't remember
the error - let me know if you want the exact details and I'll post a
message from that machine with the traceback).
I give this a positive review. Let me know if you want more testing.
