If the original ticket had been better advertised, and if there were
doctests for what was broken this ticket would have been set to
`needs_work`. When developing in Sage that's how it works: we don't just
write code that breaks things that other persons use and "fix them later",
beta or no beta. It is in `needs_work` until there is no problem with it,
and then it gets merged. Whatever this ticket does, it was definitely not
ready.
So please undo the changes first, and reimplement what you want to
properly.
