Cool, I'll try that tomorrow morning. The next step will be performance
measurements. One of the reason we hadn't moved to at least pexpect 2.4
was poor performance (sloooow). I would be willing to trade performance
for something properly maintained but we should know what we are getting
into on that front. Then again that `TIMEOUT` thing may have been the
cause.
