Hi!
I implemented what I suggested above and fixed the reported bugs, but I
found that changing the new variable naming scheme ({{{x_10}}} rather than
{{{x10}}}) would break some doc tests of sage/numerical/mip.pyx.
But if I remember correctly, Nathann was considering to remove the use of
Infinite Polynomial Rings from mip.pyx. What is the status? Is there a
ticket for it? Then the two tickets should be somehow coordinated.
Does this mean "status needs-info"? I guess so...
