OK, so I rebuilt my 4.5.alpha1 from scratch and now the patches do apply
ok in the order you give. I'll test too but do not expect any surprises.
However, I definitely think it is unacceptable (to the release manager,
for a start) for the patches on one ticket to have to be applied with two
patches from another ticket *in between* them! That will surely cause a
delay.
